A health initiative by and for Afghan immigrants.
About Us
Afghan Clinic is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the wellbeing and agency of Afghan, immigrant, and historically marginalized communities. We conduct research and advocate for health equity, create culturally concordant health resources, and promote the representation of Afghan and immigrant people in higher education and health fields.

Sofreh Salamati
Sofreh Salamati is a novel public health intervention designed specifically to promote the wellbeing of Afghan women. We gather once a month online or in-person to pray and learn about various healthcare topics from Afghan women health professionals. These sessions will be entirely in Dari and will provide an opportunity to connect with other fellow Afghan women.
